This program offers an environmentally responsible method for disposing of aerosols. It involves the collection of spent aerosol containers for fluid recovery and recycling in a cost-effective, environmentally friendly manner. EPI will provide a 45-gallon drum for the collection of empty aerosol containers. Once the drum is full, it is returned for proper disposal, where the propellant is vented through a carbon filter and the fluid is captured. The fluids and empty containers are then sent for recycling.
